Obituary

Christine G. Thompson, 88, passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2021 surrounded by her family.

She was a long time member of First Southern Baptist Church in Clarksville, and a member of the Order of Eastern Star. Christine was retired from CVS Drugstore in Jeffersonville and Clarksville Middle School where she worked in the cafeteria.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Earl H. Thompson; son, Bevis Thompson; and granddaughter, Heather Kelley Walbolt.

Christine is survived by her daughter, Beverly Kelley (Ronnie); son, Dennis Thompson (Leesa); grandchildren, Diane Poteet (Darren), Ashleigh Emily (Joshua), Kyle Thompson, Kimberly Thompson (Jon Lynn), Nicholas Thompson; great grandchildren, Shelby, Braxton, and Jase Poteet, Olivia Thompson, Spencer and Ainsleigh Emily.

Visitation will be Monday, February 1 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at Legacy Funeral Home, 921 Main Street in Jeffersonville with the funeral at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow in Walnut Ridge Cemetery.
