Enter life on this earth February 24,1924. She earned her wings and took flight on April 4,2020 to be with the Lord. Meeting her at the gates was the Love of her Life, our father (William) and our brother (William Jr) and her grandson (Robert W.F. Harris)

Georgie graduated from Central High School and Louisville Municipal College (Louisville, KY). She was employed at U.S. Army Ammunition Plant.

Georgia Mae confessed her faith and love for God at an early age where she was baptized and attended Christian Faith Band Tabernacle, after marriage she moved her membership to Gilt Edge Baptist Church where she has been a faithful member for over 70 years working on the Kitchen Committee, the Busy Bees and the Senior Ministry. She loved her church and her pastor(s), always willing to work until she was unable to do so. Mother was an exceptional woman she made an impression on everyone she met, which she became everyone mother and grandmother, auntie because of the love she exhibits to anyone that crosses her path.

She leaves behind, son Robert Harris (Linda), three daughters Priscilla Clark (Rufus deceased) Veatrice Harris, and her adopted daughter Jorene Logan (Walter), 5 Grandchildren Hope Harris, Rufus III (JR) and I’an Clark, Kentrina Harris and Muna Ibrahim, 5 Great Grandchildren, Raymond E. Collins III, Angelica T. Kirby, Dayna and Dominque Witherspoon, Marlesia Harris; nephews: Wallace L Garner III, William Black Sr. James, Jonathan, Joseph Warfield; nieces: Mary Francis Anderson(Dave), Darlene Ingram, Teresa Johnson, Gloria Garner; her very close friends, Ed and Leta Bagley, Shari Lawler (Greg), Rita Stanley.

There are so many more people that have love for mom, Mrs. Georgia Mae (as she was known by)
