Paul Leonard Mutschler, affectionately known as “Skip” by friends and family, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on February 21st, 2021. Paul was born on September 16, 1942 in St Louis Missouri to the late H. J. “Jack” Mutschler and Pauline (Cory) Mutschler. He retired from the United States Navy after 20 years as a Draftsman where he worked with the Blue Angels, and The Joint Chiefs of Staff at the Pentagon. He then received his Masters of Divinity from Southern Seminary. In recent years he took great joy in writing his blog, “Skip’s Lighthouse”
In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by two grandsons, Jeremy and Corey Wilcoxen,two brothers, and his sister Marie. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Judy (Knowland) Mutschler; three daughters, Laurie Tucker (Doug), Dawn Holiday, and Chery Wilson (Todd); 12 grandchildren, Kyle Tucker (Jenna), Jesse Tucker (Samantha), Hannah Chan (David), Erin Wilcoxen, Bethany Mussman (Matthew), Stephen and Jessica Kramp, Amy, Michael, and Luc Wilson, 13 great-grandchildren, five siblings: Sandy Kuntz; John, Roland, and David Mutschler; and Judy Easter.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 from 4-7 pm and Thursday February 25, 2021 at 10 am with Funeral services to follow at 12 pm at Legacy Funeral Center, 921 Main St., Jeffersonville, Indiana 47130. Burial will follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville, Indiana.
