Obituary

Pennie Lee Marrow, 63, of Charlestown, IN, passed away on Monday, January 4, 2021. Pennie was born in Iuka, Mississippi to the late Robert and Betty Jones on February 26, 1957.

Pennie was known for her green thumb and loved being outside planting flowers and singing. She loved her family and the Lord dearly. Although she was a home-body, she never had a dull moment and was always keeping herself busy. Pennie was a member at Christ Gospel Church in Jeffersonville, Indiana.

In addition to her parents, Pennie is preceded in death by a brother, Jackie Jones; and a sister, Robbie Rayman.

Left to cherish her memory, Pennie leaves behind 3 children, Brandon Jones (Candace), James Jones and Stephanie Holt (James); siblings, Bobby Joe Jones (Becky), Shawn Jones (Connie), Ricky Jones, Connie Coleman (Martin) and Robert Jones; grandchildren, Chelse Marrow (Raul Cardenas), Christopher Marrow, Tyler Jones and Michaela Holt; great grandchild, Raul Angel Cardenas; many nieces and nephews and a host of extended family and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 8, 2021, at Legacy Funeral Center, 921 Main Street, Jeffersonville, IN, at 12 PM, with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10-12 PM at the funeral home.
