Ralph Edward Peters, 70, of Memphis, IN passed away on July 14, 2020. He graduated from Providence High School in 1967. Ralph was a Navy veteran and served from 1968-1972, on the maiden voyage aboard the USS John F. Kennedy CVA-67. He retired after 42 years at the age of 65 from Essroc Cement. Ralph was a member of the Clark County Conservation Club. He loved to entertain, travel, spend time with friends, go clay pigeon shooting, hunting and playing cards, especially with his brothers and sisters.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Chauncey and Irene Peters and father-in-law, Lonnie Cooper.
Ralph leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of 50 years, Sally Peters; son, Erich (Jenny) Peters; daughter, Allison (Wes) Luallen; grandchildren, Victoria (Christian) Graninger, Julian Peters, Jayce Just, Kaden Luallen and Owen Luallen; sisters, Julia (Charles) Hagan, Ruth (Earl) Luecke; brother, Glenn (Karen) Peters; mother-in-law, Gladys Cooper; brother-in-law, Gary (Liz) Cooper; sister-in-laws, Shelia Cooper and Melissa Cooper and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Ralph's life will be Saturday, August 1, 2020, at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville, IN, from 1pm-6pm.
There will be a gravedside service for Ralph at Silver Creek Cemetery, Charlestown, IN, on Sunday, August 2, 2020, at 2pm.
