September Dionne Stuckey-Craft(Dee Dee/Sept/Tember) was born September 15, 1979 to Debra and Edward Stuckey in Indianapolis, Indiana.
She attended school #37 in their Continuous Progress Program. She also attended Shortridge Middle School in the Theater Magnet Program. September graduated early from Arsenal Technical High School. She was a member o the drill team, ROTC, choir and September also won Homecoming Queen her senior year. In the same year she also was named Wheeler’s Boy’s & Girl’s club youth of the Year.
September confessed her faith in Christ and was a member of Who So Ever Will Come Church. She was the choir director of the Youth choir and a member of Gifted Too Gospel Group. September later joined Brighter Day Anderson Temple COGIC, where she was filled with the precious gifted of the Holy Ghost. She work on Elder & ministers wives circle, she work on the greeting committee, she also sung in the choir, and work on many other committees.
In 1999 September was united in marriage to the love of her life Elder Charles (Boobie) Craft for union of 21 years.
September was proceeded in life by her Grandmother ReMonia Tandy and Mother-In-Love Vanessa M. Craft.
September is survived by her Husband Elder Charles Craft, daughter Arianna Nicole, (son) Christopher Thurman. Mother & Father- Debra & Ruben McKensie; Father-Edward Stuckey; Sister Brandy Jones(Jason); brothers- Edward Stuckey(Sarah), Tony, Darryle, DeWayne McKenzie; Special Mother- Carolyn Anderson; Nieces-Korie & Kourtney Hudson, Kennedy & Kristen Stuckey; Step Sisters-Crystal McKenzie, Stacie Lloyd; Step Brothers-Sebastian, Bruce, Brian, Rodney McKenzie; and a host of Auntie’s, Uncle’s, cousins, relatives, and friends.
A funeral service for September will be at 11 AM on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at Brighter Day Anderson Temple C.O.G.I.C., 1755 E. 8th St. Jeffersonville, IN. Visitation will be on Friday, October 16, from 4 PM to 8 PM at Brighter Day Anderson Temple.
September will be laid to rest in a separate graveside service at 11 AM on Monday, October 19, 2020 at New Crown Cemetery, 2101 Churchman Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46203.
